Elmar
Heim born 1942, studied law and recieved his
bachelor degree in law (Lic.
Iur), from the University of Fribourg in 1968. Following
this he was employed at the Federal Institute of
Intellectual Property (IGE) from 1970 to 1973.
In 1971
he was awarded a law doctorate from the University
of Fribourg following his thesis "The
Statistical Singleness in Copyright Law de lege lata
and de lege ferenda". His path led him to the
Land Registry Agency of Canton Zug where he worked
as representative for the agency director from 1973
to 1984. In 1984 he was promoted to agency director,
a position which he held until 2005.
During this
time he was also the President of the Cantonal
Commission for the Assessment of Municiple Deed
Comissoners (1984 - 1999). Since 2005 he is a member
of the BB Trust team, where he runs the real estate
department.
Elmar is
married and father to two grown children. He
lives in Zug.
